What an awesome woman! We became friends and it was a definate God thing! Joani was the speaker at a retreat I went to. I had not planned to attend the retreat, had no real spiritual problems that I knew of, and had no intention of getting to know the speaker. What could a married woman possibly say to someone who had recently lost a husband? Of course I was mistaken. The first song was as if I had written the words. Then she spoke with such boldness and honesty that I was blown away. Of course the Lord kept putting us in each others path the whole weekend and she was able to really minister to me. Never before have I seen a person minister with gentleness and boldness at the same time. So many lives were healed and touched that weekend and it still continues! God is really using that woman. The music this lady sings is annointed!
